GRADE 3: Grade 3 filter paper is almost double to filter paper Grade 1 with a still finer particle retention and excellent loading capacity. The extra thickness gives more increasing wet strength.

General Properties of Grade 3 are:
1. Particle Retention Liquid – 5 µm,
2. Initial Filtration Speed -325 secs/100 ml,
3. Thickness – 0.40 mm,
4. Weight – 180 g/m2,
5. Dry Bursting Strength – 187 KPa.
