Bridge Rectifier
Bridge Rectifier is made of four diodes connected in a bridge circuit. It is housed in a plastic moulded box. This bridge rectifier converts alternating current (AC) into direct current (DC). It provides the same output polarity for either input polarity. All the electronic devices require direct current, so bridge rectifiers are used inside the power supplies of almost all electronic equipment. For the easy understanding of the internal circuitry, the circuit diagram is printed on the box.

Bromine Diffusion Kitطقم إنتشار البروم
To demonstrate Kinetic theory of gases using bromine vapour. Moving initially with very high velocity, the progress of the bromine molecules may be shown to be unimpeded within a vacuum but soon hindered when diffusing into air due to their elastic collisions with the air molecules. Due to the toxicity of bromine the apparatus is designed with safety in mind, the bromine being sealed in a glass ampule which is only broken when safely inside the gas- tight apparatus. Comprises two sturdy glass diffusion tubes, two large bore 8mm stopcocks with rubber bungs, six borosilicate glass cup – tubes, six bored rubber stoppers, twelve short lengths of rubber tubing, two nylon adaptors to adapt tubes to 8mm, one small brush for cleaning tap and one tin of Vaseline.
