The biosets are alternate to microslides and are supplied as a filmstrip or as separate transparencies. The transparency set has eight slides.covering one topic with a booklet with detailed notes written in simple language. The topics are related to the students own experience . A list of questions is provided at the end of the notes. The filmstrip for use with slide projector also has eight frames covering one topic with detailed notes and questions.
