GRADE 2: Grade 2 filter paper is little more retentive & having more absorbing power than Grade 1 filter paper with a corresponding increase in filtration time.

General Properties of Grade 2 are:
1. Particle Retention Liquid – 9 µm,
2. Initial Filtration Speed -250 secs/100 ml,
3. Thickness – 0.21 mm,
4. Weight – 98 g/m2,
5. Dry Bursting Strength – 108 KPa.
